Anonymous asked: Hi, i saw your post about church and i totally understand where you're coming from. I've had a lot of trouble with the bible and discovering what my faith is and how does it fit in with my feminist views. To me, i guess the bible is like a steak. You chew on the good stuff but you don't choke on the bad. Alot of the bible is like a history lesson and with years a bit of it has...

Church Today
So I went to church today, partly because my mother made me and partly because I guess part of me wants to believe what they are saying is true. nobody’s going to save you. no one’s going to cut you down, cut the thorns thick around you. no one’s going to storm the castle walls nor kiss awake your birth, climb down your hair, nor mount you onto the white steed. there is no one who will feed the yearning. face it. you will have to do, do it yourself.
